Thanks and Late start for me today. Missed my chance.

I didnt know about Delwyn going to the Phillies either. I knew that he had switched teams and there was even some good ribbing going back and forth between him and Paul Maholm recently on twitter but I didnt realize the Phillies signed him (minor league contract)

DY and B. Moss both are trying to make the Phillie roster.

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Right-hander Roy Halladay made his second Grapefruit League start on Saturday, when the Pirates beat the Phillies, 4-3, in Clearwater, Fla. He faced six players expected to be everyday players for the Pirates this season and had little trouble working through them in three innings.

He allowed just one hit and two walks and struck out four.

The Phillies had a little more success against Pirates left-hander Paul Maholm, who allowed four hits and one run in three innings.

Andrew McCutchen batted leadoff for the Pirates in Saturday's contest. (Gene J. Puskar/AP)
"I'm right where I want to be," Maholm said. "It's getting more comfortable each time out. I felt a lot more comfortable today throwing inside. I missed a couple of them, but that's part of getting through it. Now, for me, it's flipping the switch. It's time to make sure you mix all your pitches and get outs and go toward the season ready to go."

The Phillies took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, when Ben Francisco hit a solo home run to left field. Prior to Saturday's contest, Francisco had hit .375 (6-for-16) with one double, one triple, one home run and five RBIs in six games.

Francisco is making a strong case to win the everyday job in right field to open the season. He also doubled in the fourth. He scored on Delwyn Young's double to left field to give the Phillies a 2-1 lead.

Domonic Brown had been hitless in his first 15 at-bats this spring before he singled up the middle in the second. John Mayberry Jr. replaced Brown in right field in the top of the third. Team athletic trainer Scott Sheridan escorted Brown out of the dugout after the third before Brown jogged back into the clubhouse.

The Pirates got on the board in the fourth, when Lyle Overbay doubled, moved to third on a groundout and scored on Garrett Jones' sacrifice fly. In the fifth, Andrew McCutchen's groundout brought home John Bowker to tie the game at 2.

Neil Walker put the Pirates ahead for good with a two-run home run in the sixth inning.

Up next for Phillies: The Phillies split into two squads for Sunday's action. They host the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:05 p.m. ET at Bright House Field, available on MLB.TV. They also travel to Lakeland to play the Detroit Tigers at 1:05 p.m. Cliff Lee starts against the Rays, while Kyle Kendrick starts against the Tigers.

Up next for Pirates: Pittsburgh returns to McKechnie Field on Sunday for a 1:05 p.m. ET game against Toronto. Right-hander James McDonald is scheduled to throw three innings. Bullpen candidates Chris Resop and Daniel McCutchen, as well as closer Joel Hanrahan, are also expected to pitch. The game will be available on MLB.TV.
I think this team is starting to come around. No sophomore slumps and some of these pitchers finally earning their pay and we might be just fine.

The boxscore indicates that D'Arnaud played SS and Catcher today. This makes yesterdays demotion of two catchers (Sanchez and Fryer) a bit odd since they apparently ran out of catchers today.
