    Default AFC North schedule comparison

Well the first half of the season is over...we may be some what disappointed with HOW we lost 2 games; however we seem to be playing our best ball when needed.....both the O and the D.

Now onto the 2nd half, and although our task to win the division may seem somewhat difficult, on paper it does not look so bad.

Pittsburgh 6-2 remaining schedule 4 home 4 away
    Record: conference 4-1 division 1-1 home 4-0 away 2-2
1 game against 1 team over .500 (Bungholes)
    3 games against 2 teams at .500 (Turdbirds-Packers)

    Cincinnati
    at Kansas City
    at Baltimore
    Oakland
    at Cleveland
    Green Bay
    Baltimore
    at Miami

No reason we should not play atleast 6-2 ball the second half, if not better.
    Finish 12-4 or better.

Bungholes 6-2 remaining schedule 3 home 5 away
    Record: conference 4-2 division 4-0 home 3-2 away 3-0
    3 games against 3 teams over .500 (Vikings-Chargers-Steelers)
1 game against 1 team at .500 (Jets)

    at Pittsburgh
    at Oakland
    Cleveland
    Detroit
    at Minnesota
    at San Diego
    Kansas City
    at NY Jets

You can see the possibility of 4 losses somewhere in this schedule.
    Finish 10-6.

Turdbirds 4-4 remaining schedule 4 home 4 away
    Record: conference 4-3 division 1-2 home 3-1 away 1-3
    3 games against 2 teams over .500 (Steelers-Colts)
    2 games against 2 teams at .500 (Packers-Bears)

    at Cleveland
    Indianapolis
    Pittsburgh
    at Green Bay
    Detroit
    Chicago
    at Pittsburgh
    at Oakland

You can easily see the possibility of 4 losses somewhere in this schedule.
    Lucky if they finish 8-8.

It could possibly come down to conference wins so those game are really important to win since we play all conference games but 1.

However our opponents look like they have a good chance for some L's down the stretch. The Turds task is very hard, and it could come down to the final week for us and the Bungholes....we all finish up on the road.

I like our chances against Miami in warm weather moreso than the Bungholes chances of getting a win against the Jets, a team:
    1. that will most likely not make the playoffs, and
    2. with a coach that will be ****ed, and
    3. want to play the spoiler, and
    4. want to finish on a high note to set the tone for next season, and
    5. possibly in bad weather.

Hopefully I will be wrong and we will have the division wrapped up before the last game, but you never know.

Discounting Cleveland (because they are already out of it), I think I saw that Cincy has the easiest run to the end %-wise... Which makes this week even moreso important... It may be the last game against Denver that gives us an edge (if needed).

I would think if you did a SOS now with all updated team standings, we might would have an easier one. Cincy still has 3 teams yet to play playing over 500 ball.

... I saw it before this past weekend's games, so you may be correct. But close nonetheless.

    Dude....

Take a xanax and chill out already.

    It's the bungles.

    They can't help themselves.

    Mid season collapses are them.

If you break it down to home and away games.

    Steelers: H 16-16, A 9-23
    Bungles: H 3-21, A 24-16
    Gavens: H 19-13, A 13-19

The Bungles have a tough road ahead of them, Steelers, Minnesota and SD all with winning records and Jets with a .500 record with Oakland being the only team with a losing record.

The Bungles are the only team left on our schedule with a winning record.

Gotta give NKy his props he was buying this Bengals team back in August. I think we will finish in front of them, but they are much improved.

I just wonder, how long can the "Good citizens" of the Bengals continue to behave?

I think we end up 12-4...that means that we need them to end up 11-5 to win the division.

Even after having them beat us last week...I am not convinced that "they are for real." Why? Well...I mean we played like ****...and not all of it was caused by them. Men were open...we had opportunities...and they didn't always cause us to misfire...Ben and Arians absolutely wet the bed. It happens. Im ok with that.

However, I still think that they lose to Minnesota...possibly to San Diego. That would put us both at 11-4 heading into the final game of the season by my calculations.......that means we'd need them to lose to NYJ, which is a possibility for sure.

We'll see...we've certainly made it interesting.

The even MORE interesting thing? Last time they won the division we won the SB! I'll take that result again

We still control our own destiny at this point. Too bad it seems like the Steelers have to put themselves in tight spots before they respond.

I still think they're weak minded and if they lose a couple of games in a row the old Bungles will rear their head.
But I also think winning back to back games against Baltimore and the Steelers has them cocky and really think it's possible they blow the game against Oakland.

******tte said something yesterday about how they were acting in the locker room. He didn't elaborate, but I also read somewhere that they were mocking our fans that were leaving not using a TT but twirling white towels at them and laughing that they and their little yellow towels were surrendering. Of course that's a rumor, but if true it could bite them in the ***.

I just have a feeling though they blew their wad by sweeping us and Baltimore. I think to them that was their super bowl and in their mind they're now champions and can't be beat.

So we have the toughest home schedule and they have the toughest road schedule. I'll still take ours over theirs even if we do have Baltimore twice, because I think Baltimore's D sucks.

That would not surprise me one bit if Cincy choked. They have made it a part of them, now they sign LJ. Self destruction begins in 4...3...2...1!!!
