    Default Comrie ready to play

Penguins forward Mike Comrie will play tonight against the New Jersey Devils at Consol Energy Center.

Comrie hasn't played since Nov. 24 because of a hip that required surgery.

He will play as a winger in place of forward Dustin Jeffrey, who was to be seen by team doctors today. Jeffrey didn't finish a shootout win Thursday at Philadelphia after Flyers center Jeff Carter fell into his right leg in the second period.

"The last two days in practice, with contact in particular, his pace has looked real good," coach Dan Bylsma said of Comrie, who will see time on the power play.

Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury will start for the Penguins for a consecutive night. Backup Brent Johnson remains day-to-day with an upper body injury.

They said during last nights game that Comrie's been one of the fastest guys on the ice.

With Jeffrey out and his injury looking pretty bad, getting some good offense back in mike Comrie will be a nice boost.

I'll be curious to see how they do the lines without shortage of Top centers. Staal is all we have as far as a true Center is concerend for the Top 2 lines.

I'm glad he's healthy... we'll see what he brings to the team tonight. I'm not expecting much, but hopefully he finds his niche!!!

    no word on Orpik?

They said he' was cleared to play yesterday but I saw a statement that said he could return in the next few games. With "few" equalling at least 3, I figured 2nd or 3rd game from then which eliminates the Devils game.

If the Neal and Kovy line find a way to finish their opportunities... Get in the Cordoba, we're going bowling!!! (or something to that effect!)

My grandma had a 70's green Chrysler Cordoba, my uncle a 70's "gold" one

If those 2 coulda finished last night we'd have blown the Flyers out in regulation by 4 goals or so.
