    Default Penguins vs. Pirates tonight

I want to watch McDonald pitch and hope the team starts rolling, but I will also check in with the Penguins often. Will there be a gameday for each?

I'll be watching the Pirates. The potential to win a second straight road series to start the season is something I want to see.

How does that app work? What does the $14.99 get you? Do you have to go to mlb.com and register there to use the app?

    No registering.

You get pitch by pitch gameday, box scores, live radio of the home or away team, mlb.com Pirates articles and news, any Twitter #pirates mentions, you can set alerts to tell you when a game is starting/just finished, video highlights of scoring plays/nice plays while the game is going on and after the game, standings. If you pay for the MLB TV package, you can get the games live on your phone. Otherwise with the app you just get the live radio.

The app kicks nuts. I just watched the condensed game which is pretty cool. It is definitely worth the $15.

im still going back and forth on whether or not tyo get it. I'll probably make a decision when the weather gets nicer and im more out and about. Right now I've not really needed it... YET... but all of those features you mentioned are sweet.

Vandy... did you purposely say "I want to see the New Jersey Devils play" and pick this game to goto or are you a ticket holder or just had somebody offer you tix?

    Option C.

Wife's grandfather is a season ticket holder and asked me yesterday if I'd like to go.

As far as that app, you'd be surprised how much you use it. Saturday, we were at a function and I couldn't see that game. That app saved me as I just constantly kept checking it to follow the game.

thats the thing there. when ive been away from the house, i havent had enough time to really check out anything since Ive been summoned to help move furniture etc... other than that ive been home most evenings or can watch the day games... when warmer weather hits is when i'll be away more. App might make more sense for me then.

Wife's Grandfather! There ya go. So it wasn't your decision then
