    Default I Succumbed!

I bought the MLB baseball package today (four payments of $54.99, despite the fact that I have been a DTV customer for 13 years and have the football and hockey packages I could weasel a discount).

I hope I haven't put the "evil eye" or the "kiss of death" on the Buccos?

I've had the MLB package for longer than I can remember. It's the best value among the sports packages. Also I get the hockey package but not the football package. Where I am located I get most of the Steeler games over the air.

... If I spent more time at home and less on the road at work I would get the package also... Hell, if they offered the same "internet viewing option" as the Sunday ticket, I would've already had it.

I just got out of a meeting with Frank and Bob they said to try and get you to buy some merchandise. I think a nice new Pirates cap and a new authentic jersey, perhaps a McCutchen, Walker, Tabata, etc... " jersey?

For some unknown reason I am getting the MLB package without ordering (or paying) for it. I also received the hockey center ice without ordering.

I did order and pay for MLB last year. I should probably report their error but I keep forgetting to call.

    Be careful.

If you ordered any of the sports packages last year (season) you have to "opt out" this year or they automatically sign you up.

I hope your interpretation is correct --because they do make lmistakes--but you still may have or will have to pay for them.

(OK, like the IRS, DTV has a 10% "citizens capture fee" for turning in people who have order their programming but haven't paid. They have your info and I just made $37 dollars on your admission. )

Not DTv (Time Warner). I have not been charged for either NHL or MLB.

But, it's $37. What if I split it with you?

My initial fears came true, not only did the Bucs lose last night--clearly all on me--but, for real, at 10 PM when the game broadcast was supposed to begin, we lost our electricity for about the next 25 minutes to "storms in the area."
