Steelers to put 2011 tickets on sale
    Wednesday, June 08, 2011
    Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Here's a chance to buy a few tickets to a Steelers game in 2011 if you are not a season ticket-holder. A limited number of individual game tickets for their home games will be available through Ticketmaster beginning June 25 at 10 a.m.

According to the Steelers, fans may buy up to four tickets total per household, in any combination, for any of the eight regular-season games. There is no ticket limit for either of the two preseason home contests. A majority of the tickets will be priced at either $64 or $68. There will also be single seats available at various locations and price ranges.

Tickets will be sold on ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster's toll free sales line 1-800-745-3000. Tickets will not be sold at Ticketmaster Outlets. All Accessible seating will also be available through Ticketmaster starting at 10 a.m. on June 25. Since there are a limited number of tickets available, tickets are expected to sell out very quickly.

The Steelers provided no word on what will happen if the game you have tickets to is canceled by the current lockout.

$64 or $68? Are those Pre-Season Ticket discount prices? Peanut Heaven has a face value over $90+ and (I would have to ask to be sure) after every Superbowl, prices have gone up for tickets

I really don't know, Kipper. The way it's written up is confusing. I have to assume the $64-$68 tix are for pre-season games. That's probably the catch they are using to get people suckered in.

does anyone know what happens if they don't resolve labor dispute and games are not played that we have gotten tix to. I assume ticketmaster/steelers will reverse the charges on the tix do you know?
