Former New York Giants wide receiver David Tyree cut short his visit to Tampa and returned to Baltimore to sign with the Ravens.

Tyree was released by the Giants as part of their final cutdown in September. He missed last season after suffering a lingering hamstring injury while coming back from offseason knee surgery.

He made one of the most remarkable catches in Super Bowl history when the Giants defeated the previously unbeaten New England Patriots.

With the Giants trailing 14-10 late in the fourth quarter and faced with a third and 5, Tyree hauled in a 32-yard pass from Eli Manning, pinning the ball against his helmet as defender Rodney Harrison yanked him to the ground.

The play set up Manning's winning touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress in the Giants' 17-14 victory.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

This tells me that Rats have one thing in mind. They´ve taken notice that our Pass D has been under par and they´re looking to bolster their WR corps in anticipation of the 2 games against us.

    Bottom line,

they´re still scared of the Steelers.

Yep, the Stillers are the most successful NFL franchise in the SB era. So everything the Gayvens do is all about beating us. They haven't forgotten the 3 L's we doled out to them last year, not to mention the coup de grace in the AFCCG. lol

I really thought the Patriots were going to cut Galloway and sign David Tyree.

Have you seen the Ravens pass D?. Our Pass D looks great compared to these guys and that isn't saying much.

Honestly, no I haven´t. Don´t get to see highlight shows anymore, so all I can see are the official numbers. But, I don´t put much stock into them this early in the season.

Told a good buddy of mine over the phone that the Ravens are overrated as a team, yet every time you tune in to a ESPN or NFLN and listen to the mediots, the Gayvens are the greatest thing since man started walking upright: no D is better and there isn't another young qb as good as Fucco..

This team didn't scare me when they were 3-0 and they certainly don't scare me at 3-2. I think this team will be hard pressed to reach 9-7. The defense isn't nearly as intimidating and Flacco is just a goof ball.

Goofball and Dickweed are classics. You just can't over use them.
