Default Meek to the DL, Tim Wood up

Snyder also goes to the DL to make room on the 40.

Wood has been very good as Indy's closer with a 2.96 ERA, .904 WHIP, 8.9 K/9 and 1.5 BB/9. He's always had very good stuff, but struggled with the Marlins last year.

Meek just hasn't looked right since returning. He's struggled to get anywhere above 92 with the fastball.

The number of injuries impacting the bullpen has been crazy, and the fact that they've held it together so far is fairly impressive. Beimel was out early and is back out again. Crotta was good for a couple weeks, but fell apart and got hurt. Meek has been bad/injured all year. Karstens had to be moved to the rotation thanks to Ohlendorf. Ascanio was hurt/ineffective. Scott Olsen never even made it to the mound. Kudos to Huntington for having backup options available.

It's ncie that we've had some good BP depth at Indy with Meek and Beimel's injuries so far. It beats bringing up crap types like Leroux and Gallagher etc...

But the fresh air by third base form his swings is to die for!!

It's nice to know that weak hitting catchers now don't even have to catch well.

I may reconsider my baseball career!
