    Default Upcoming schedule

    Holy ****!
    Nats, Astros, Cubs coming up.

    Brewers have Twins, D-Backs, Reds

    Cards have Rays, Reds, D-Backs.

    Reds- Indians, Cards, Brewers.

Could the Bucs be in first place by the All-Star break?

The Nationals give us fits so I'd be happy splitting the series with them. We should take the series with the Astros and the Cubs.

Overall, I can see us going 6-4 with the next three games. I would need to look at the matchups to better determine, but with the way the Astros and the Cubs are playing, I can see us winning those series.

I hope those are on the road. The Brewers are flat out terrible away from Milwaukee.

The Nats have given the Bucs fits in the past yes.
    But so did interleague play.

The old rules don't apply to these guys so far.

But 6-4 would be a good result.
The Nats were hot about a week ago, not sure what they've done in the past few days though.
And the Cubs just split with the Giants with a couple of walk-off wins.
    And the Astros are sunk.

Brewers: at Twins, then home against D-Backs & four gamer with the Reds.

Last week I wrote I'd be happy getting one of 3 vs. Boston and 2 of 3 against Toronto. We ended up with 2 of 3 in each series. I'm done putting limits on this team. Go for first place ! Shock the world !

The Pirates went through what should be the toughest month of the season in June and came out 16-11. They had Boston, Philly, Arizona, and Cleveland who are all well above .500. They also had 5 with the Mets who are a game above .500, and Toronto came in right around .500 despite a tough division. Even the Orioles are probably a solid team in a different division. The only really easy series was the one with the Astros and the Pirates came out with a much needed sweep. 16-11 was probably best case scenario there. It would only strengthen the disappointment if they can't walk through this stretch, though. Either way, though, they're eventually going to have to figure out Milwaukee. 7 games above .500 against the rest of the league, 0-5 against the Brewers.

Evidently this team doesn't care about anyones expectations for them but their own. THAT is a sign of a team on the come.

Before the Toronto series, I made took the schedules of PIT, CIN, STL and MIL and decided their opponents winning percentage. The percentage is how many games against winning teams and how many games against losing teams at that time.

Winners:PHI ATL WSH MIL STL PIT CIN ARI SF COL
Losers: NYM FLA CHC HOU LAD SD AL

Remember, things may have changed since I did this. COL and WSH may have fallen and NYM may have risen. Here is what I have.

Pirates have the lowest opponent win percentage .583 (49-35)
Cardinals have the second lowest opponent win percentage .614 (51-32)
Brewers have the second highest opponent win percentage .629 (51-30)
Reds have the highest opponent win percentage .650 (54-29)

This includes last series games so the Pirates and Cardinals win percentage should have risen slightly and Brewers and Reds should have fallen slightly.

    Unless they're in Pittsburgh.
