    Default Raise the Jolly Roger....again

Karstens is now 5th in the NL in ERA. You could make a strong case for him being in the All Star Game as well. Should be in 2nd place after tonight unless the Brewers make a big comeback. 1.5 games out of first no matter what. The overachieving Buccos continue to surprise everyone.

This team continues to amaze me everyday! It seems to be someone different delivering every game. It truly is awesome!!! I have not enjoyed following this team this much since I was in high school!!! Truly awesome I tell ya!!! On a side note....the Cincy Reds are starting to get smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror!!! Loving It!!!

We must be around the same age, because the last time they made the playoffs I was in high school myself.

Yea....I'm 35!!! This team has not been competitive since I was a junior in high school!!! This is really turning into a very enjoyable baseball season!!! The best part is none of us expected these results this year at all!!! It makes it that much more enjoyable!!!!

If the all-star game were tomorrow they would have to win 39 games after it to clinch .500. Exciting times.

And thanks in part to our old friend Zach Duke, the Pirates now have sole possession of second place in the NL Central.

I never get tired of reading/hearing Raise the Jolly Roger, the Pirates win again. It's almost getting to the point to where I EXPECT to hear it. They didn't get their 45th win last year until September. 45-41 and sole possession of 2ndthe place......in July!!! How can you not be excited?

Greg Brown can say "Raise the Jolly Roger" from now until November and I'd never get tired of it.

I sure do wish Karstens would quit giving up those HRs. He'd throw a shutout every game.

Btw, is there an NFL strike? WHO CARES!
