Default Big Changes could be on the way at ballparks

I have a feeling the fan falling in Arlington last night is going to force changes the way the little girl getting hit the puck caused the NHL to put the nets behind goal.

I'm sure players are being told starting tonight, stop throwing balls into the crowd.

How many people have fallen at Arlington. It seems to be a problem unique to that place.

It's a terrible, terrible tragedy. Even though it was an accident,I can only imagine how Josh Hamilton feels today.

I heard on Sirius this morning (MLB channel) that it had been 366 days since the last fan fell over the railing. So, as far as I know, it's happened twice in Arlington.

I can see a memo going out to the players they are not to throw baseballs into the outfield seats anymore. If they want, they can toss it to a kid along the first or third base lines.

Instead of doing that, which solves nothing, all they have to do is put a net or other protection along the railings. Someone could just as easily fall going after a foul ball. Why ruin the enjoyment at a ball park because of very isolated, albeit tragic, incident?
