The Steelers have signed first-round draft pick Cameron Heyward.

Heyward, a defensive end from Ohio State, agreed to a four-year contract with a team option for a fifth year. Steelers will announce the signing at a 5:30 p.m news conference.

The Steelers have signed all of their draft picks except for Texas cornerback Curtis Brown, a third-round selection.

The 6-5, 288-pound Heyward was taken by the Steelers No. 31 overall last April.

From Steelers official Twtter as well

We have agreed to terms with our #1 draft pick, Cameron Heyward. Check Steelers.com at 5:30 for live press conference.
I never understood what the hell the hang up was. Aren't there no cap limits and slots for the NFL draft where it operates more like the NHL Draft? If so, there shouldn't be any issue whatsoever for ever signing a draft pick. you know how much they'll cost, they know how much they'll make. Done

Good, he needed in camp asap so he could start learning the defense. He needs to spend every second he can with Aaron Smith and Brett Kiesel. I hope he's rooming with one of them.
