    Default Techno questions here please!

I am interested in buying the 3D "Trek" set with panasonic active shutter glasses. Will the panasonic glasses work while viewing a vizio tv?

Sorry man, no clue.... Ask the dealer. He should be able to answer the question...

They should give you 3-D effect just not as well as it would be if you were watching the Panasonic TV, although I don't believe the human eye can tell the quality difference there. It's more a marketing ploy to get you to buy the TV the glasses were "made" for in my honest opinion.

I bought the Vizio glasses, but will entertain the TREK deal also!

I also bought the WDTV Plus to attempt to send computer stuff to the new tv and even the 42" in the next room.

I am near completion of the initial 3D media center effort and depending on income will start anew on upgrading the computer system. One thought is to buy Windows 7 for my aging, but still worthy, Vista machine and buying a laptop with widi. The other side of the coin has me desparately wanting to build a new system full tower.
