    Default Wildcat Formation.....

I know Arians doesn't have it in the playbook right now but should he install it?

With Mendenhall & Parker in the wildcat formation it could confuse defenses and keep them guessing.

I wanna see a tandem backfield dammit!!!

    Get back to Steeler football!!!

Uh... The "wildcat" is not back to "Steeler football".... We never did it in the past. ... Further more, times have changed so what you or I used to believe as the "best" way to do it has changed.... I hear you though.... I just want something that works consistently against quality teams at this point.

.... Beyond that, IMHO, it's a gimmick that doesn't work in as making a whole plan around it.... But hey, I could be wrong, we'll find out come Jan 3rd when we play Miami for our last game of the season.

I remember Arians trying the wildcat I believe it was with Ward either in 2007 or in 2008 at the goal line. It failed miserably. The Wildcat IMO is used by teams who have issues on offense and are trying to disguise it. Our issues on offense is a O=corrdinator that knows nothing about strategy

Unfortnately. He seems to like it as well. He's done less of it this year since we've improved in facets of the running game, but the guy still has no concept of calling plays to draw in a defense for a run and then throwing it. Setting up the pass or run effectively, setting up big plays effectively, anything that had the offense dictating

Wlidcat as a gadget play, every now and then? Sure. Consistently? Nope.

Flavor of the day thing for teams looking to do it consistently. Defenses figure it out quick.
