I like this stuff. It looks as if our Buccos need a slugging 3rd baseman that is good enough to **** Peedro off enough to get back to the bigs. I do not know who that would be, but package Maholm and Correia along with a position player not named Presley, Tabata or McCutchen , or hopefully Walker.. Yeah, we could miss getting rid of both pitchers, but only if one of them pitched lights out for the year.

While exciting, d'Arnaud is not better than Cedeno at this point. As much as I like Harrison, he can't hold the starter job at the present. I could actually say the same for Wood. Hague could make next years team, if he shows anything at the call up this year. I'm thinking Jones will be on the team, so if Hague doesn't make it, there is need for another first baseman.

Even though the Pirates ship sank this year, hope abounds! There is still a lot left to do. I think much can be accomplished within, but if the Pirates keep the speed outfield, then first and third need addressed.

This just in.............Walker is a big athletic young man that has proven that he can play anywhere. Move him, again, if needed and he probably will not disappoint.

May the best men win amongst Doumit, McKenry and Fryer and may Sanchez regain his footing. I think catcher can stay within the system. Maybe Doumit can restructure?

I do not see any more outfielders making the leap this year.

A flow of pitching, from the minors, will keep all of our hopes up.

Right now, the rest of the year, I want to watch the pitching develop, the young guys already on the team and Alvarez and Hague.

Having blurted this out, I am still of the opinion that this team wins a championship, when Walker needs to bat 6th or 7th.
