    Default Jimmie Johnson

Anyone else Nascar fans? I'm a big fan. Save money for the races, all that nice ****.

I can't believe the history the 48 is making. It's never been done before and is really unbelievable to watch how dominating they are right now and have been for 4 years solid.

    No takers besides me?

I am not trying to take anything from Johnson, but there is an unfair competitive advantage in Nascar, when 3 cars (Hendrick) are clearly better than the rest of the field it creates some very jaded fans like me.

I am not a Hendrick/Gordon hating, Dale Sr. fan, I am a Bobby Labonte fan and before him Terry Labonte fan. When the man who won the title in 2000 is usually driving such a crappy machine that the announcers say, "Bobby Labonte is having a good run" if he's in the top 20. Why should I watch/support the sport?

Bobby just didn't forget how to drive a car for the last 5 years.

Even 10 years ago, you'd get the winners from the smaller teams and anymore it just seems if its not Hendrick, Rousch (except this year) or Gibbs no one wins and this leads to fans like myself who used to watch faithfully become jaded and disinterested.

Maybe the Petty's of the world had the same advantage years ago, and maybe 20 years from now I will look back at Johnson and say, "Great Guy, Great Driver". But right now I can't help but feel he is a great guy, a great driver who has better equipment than 97% of the field.

    Just my two cents.

I like Jimmie Johnson cause Lowe's gave my fiance a bonus for the win!!
"He had no teeth, and he was slobbering all over himself. I'm thinking, 'You can have your money back, just get me out of here. Let me go be an accountant." I can't tell you how badly I wanted out of there." Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Bobby didn't forget how to drive a car, you're right. Problem he has is that the car he is driving isn't a Gibbs car anymore.

Every generation has had a dominant driver. None seem to be better than Johnson tho. The thing I think is most imrpessive about his accomplishments is the fact that this is the most competetive era. The cars are all almost identical. RCR, JGR, HM, SHR, Roush all of em are running ****ed near the same car. Identical ****in specs. IT's amazing what the 48 is doing.

I celebrate it instead of knock it.

I always start the season watching.... But shortly after FOX passes the buck to NBC after the Firecracker 400..... Err.... Sorry.... The "Pepsi 400", I lose interest in following it because I don't care for the way NBC covers it (maybe it's ABC... Doesn't matter, I still don't like it), plus the NFL camps have opened and I'm getting into football.

    ... Boogity, boogity, boogity... It's then pre-season!

.... I personally don't care for Jimmie Johnson, but it's probably the same reasoning that folks didn't care for Jeff Gordon. He won too much... LoL!..... Myself, I've been a Mark Martin fan since his Valvoline days because I met the guy personally while I lived in Daytona back @ '90..... Beyond that, I hate to admit it, but I'm a closet Tony Stewart fan.

It's changed a lot over the years.

    Yes it has....

Man, I lived in Daytona for almost 3 years ('89-'91) and saw every race there while in town... Been to many others around the various locations as well.

For those that have never been to a live race, all I can say is "you gotta experience it in person."

    My sentiments exactly.

If I wanted to go to the race just to watch sausage fingered, fat, hillbilly whores flashing their drunk tits at everyone I'd just go to a local church pot luck, save the ticket price and get a free meal in the process.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for whores, just not into sausage fingered, hillbilly *****es or 30 thousand drunk hillbilly idiots clogging the isles with their mullet headed, retarded children while they all attempt to sing Nazi propaganda tunes. Its nothing but a Nouveau clan rally.
