    Default Bittersweet!

Okay so the Raiders win and it keeps things the same with one less week to play... All is normal in the AFC North 0-4 today! At least baltimore played a team with more than 2 wins.....Now we have to run the table!

I dont think "running the table" is an option after you lose to KC---

Not to mention the injuries that we suffered the last 2 weeks !

Okay pittfannyc, we may have lost the game (and thats what counts...CLEARLY), but we put up like 500 yds offense (give or take)...We need to sure up the kick coverage, so we dont spot opponents 6 or 7 every week! Sure Gay needs to step the **** up...but I dont know how you cant have faith that this team can play with/beat anyone in the league! Have we lost by more than one score?

I think Clark was more disappointing today than Gay.

Yup. He bit hard on that pump fake. Gay sucked as well, no mistakes about that.

    As for the topic...

We lost to the Chiefs. We are one game up on Baltimore. The Ravens haven't lost to the Chiefs of the league. they've lost to the Bengals twice like us, the Patriots, Colts and Vikings. 5 teams that are a combined something like 40-10, all are leading their divisions. We are the only 2 tough games left on their schedule (Green Bay too). Every game is tough for us, since we can't beat the Chiefs with 500 yards of offense

There is a bright side to this. I've had tickets for awhile to this game and was planning on going, then we had the car wreck and there was no way I could ride in a car that long. So I gave my tickets to a friend that lives in Missouri that is also a Steelers fan.
I would have really been mad if I had driven that far to watch them lose that way and it would have been an even longer drive home.

They've already been the death of this team the past 2 weeks. They've been the difference. Yeah, good teams are supposed to overcome that, but in close games bad special teams will cost you and they certainly have this year!

Completely disagree. Mainly because Gay has been making the same ****-ups all year. Blown coverage leading to big plays for the opposing teams.
    ****ing sick of it.

The yardage means absolutely nothing--- we had the ball in the RZ last week 4x, and couldnt get a TD. You mention the ST--- how about the defense? TWO drives of over 90 yards by KC, playing without their best offrensive player this week.

We CAN compete with any team in the league.. too bad the goal is not competing... its winning.

Gay is, as his name states, GAY...The guy is SOFT! I have never saw a guy get "trucked" so hard by a running back (see AP weeks ago), and NOT respond!!!! This guy looks like his wick is burning short...miss Mcfadden

That's a nice quote. How about... "We CAN beat any team in the league"

Yeah, actually they're ahead of us right now since they have a better conference record. Luckily, we beat Denver putting us ahead of them! So, Jax is 5 and we're 6 as of now. Amazing how 6 weeks into the season, Denver was undefeated and now they don't even have a wildcard spot! Goes to show you how much can change during the course of a few weeks!
