    Default Hello Bucs crew.

First, I grew up never having a baseball team that I followed close. Then I took my daughters to a Phils/Pirates exhibition back in 2010 in Philadelphia. We were looking into the Pirates BP and one of the Pitching Coaches (I assumed) looked up and gave them a genuine smile and wave. From there I've started growing to like this organization. I was hoping someone could shed some light on who this gentleman would have been. He was an elderly man and after looking at the pitching coaches from that year I didn't recognize him, at the very least he might have been Ray Searage, but this gentleman looked a little older, like one of the alumni. in closing I can't wait to start talking with everyone.

that coach might have been Joe kerrigan, he didn't do much to help our pitching staff, but he at least brought in a new fan and even better, a new member to the forum. welcome to PSF, there is a great group of people here

Ray Searage was promoted to the MLB staff as Pitching Coach after the 2009 season, so the guy you saw was likely him.

One of the best parts of that season was the bench brawl and Joe Kerrigan almost going after the ever ******-tastic Jason Kendall and Kendall afterwards calling him Dave Kerwin
