Just like the title says, the Steelers waive Hoyer with Ben being back and ready to start Sunday and activate CB Josh Victorian likely due to Ike Taylor's injury for depth from the Practice Squad

IF Hoyer had any potential, repeat IF, I would have put Leftwich on IR (or just released him).

This shouldn't come as a surprise...

With the quarterback position in flux for the Cardinals, the team made a move to bring in another option Monday when they picked up Brian Hoyer on waivers.

1. Draft a QB in the late rounds
2. Draft a RB in the 1st Round I will personally find Kevin Colbert and beat him silly

Neither one of those scenerios ever produces for the Steelers. They are wastes of picks IMO. Find. QB on waivers or free agency. Theres plenty of decent options out there every year

I was disappointed. I liked bringing in Hoyer.

Hoyer should have been kept and Leftwich should have been let go for the simple fact that Hoyer has never tripped and fell in the endzone and broke his own ribs

That answers the question who #35 was on Sunday. I thought they had signed Shane Victorino. I have really been so busy that game time is all my steeler exposure.

I would have rather seen Lefty gone in favor of Hoyer too. I never liked the Lefty acquisition from the start. Getting rid of Lefty maybe, just maybe might have been a positive thing for guys looking over their shoulders with making an effort to stay in better health or shape. I know that sounds stupid and no one wants to get injured and are there really any prevent workouts or training that could guard against that. When you have a guy that continue to get hurt tripping over his own feet...........it's just time to get rid of him.

In response to the Wizz being on the bubble, we seen what he can do with a good quarterback like Ben and Warner.... Star qb's are what it takes to win in the NFL. Look how many great teams Cowher had with number one running, number one defense. Despite all that Cowher had, it took Big Ben to get Bill his Super Bowl ring.
