    Default Our (hopefully) New OC??

    http://twitter.com/Adam_Schefter/status/6172801258

Notre Dame's coach (for now) Charlie Weis telling people that NFL teams already have contacted him regarding offensive coordinator jobs.

    Would ya take him?

I would. Head coach? Not so much, but the guy's a great offensive coach.

    My thoughts exactly.

We can hate this guy all we want.

But the facts are clear: the Patophiles were NEVER as successful as when Charlie Tuna was OC. The guy MADE the creature who is Tom Brady. Brady has led the Patophiles to 3 Lombardi Trophies.

Answer me this: would you hate this guy more as OC than That ******* Arians? Arians has one SB ring as an OC... thanks to Dick LeBeau and the Pittsburgh Steelers Defense.

BTW, buckeyehoppy believes that Charlie Tuna is getting the bum's rush at Notre Dame and the elitist fans and alumni at Notre Dame deserve The Manvirus as their next Head Coach. It would be a marriage made in heaven!

Glad to know, however, that you would take him. The question was merely rhetorical.

I hate that fat bastard, but would cheer for the offense he designs as it would no doubt be better than bruce arians elementary offense. My ****ing high school coach could outcoach Bruce. He is about as creative as a sun dried, white, dog turd laying out in my lawn.

Great another Bruce Arians. Sorry I prefer an OC that will feature the run more, use a FB and has some fresh new ideas.

    FIFY!

In the mean time... My Granny couldn't do much worse as the OC and she's been dead for 12 years.

I am almost on board with Chan Gailey being braught back. But I would rather find a young, creative OC. One who can come up with some new wrinkles, use the teams strengths and hide their weakness.

Why they are at it we could use changes at OL and ST coaches as well. Both of those guys are known bums, time to get upgrades.

That stuff is overrated to be honest. What we need is an OC that can strategize who knows when to run and when to pass, can have his squad dictate what's going on on the field. If the opposition is weaker against the pass, if they have a weak cog in the secondary or middle of the field, having an OC that will exploit that until the o[pposition resolves it is what we need. If the opposition is weak against the run, has a weaker side on it's line and LB's, attacking that with the run. An OC that knows how to set up the pass and run, an OC that knows how to call plays to counter blitzes and back off the pressure etc...

Charlie Weiss might be a lot of things... but strategy wise, he's good at those things. bill Belichick wouldn't have hired him and kept him if he were Bruce Arians. belichick is all about strategy

Me, personally, I would not want that ****ing sack of monkey **** at all. If it were to happen though, I would give him a chance.
