Regrets ?
Do any of you have or feel any regrets over Steeler football ? Something you wish would have gone differently or should have gone differently ?
Shooting from the hip here are just a couple of things that bother me. No particular order.
1. Obviously losing two Super Bowls, AFC Championships.
2. I wish Ben would have been named Super Bowl MVP other Santonio. Who picks the player anyway ?
3. I wish and I said it from the start that, Vrabel never left our team.
4. Woodson retired as a Steeler.
5. We still had block numbers on our uniforms.

Re: Regrets ?
1)The O'Donnell pass to ?,I mean Larry Brown. We were rolling and were driving to win that title.
2)Having to let Woodson go,although I understand it,it was still like having our heart cut out.
Obviously, lots of others, but these two still hurt big time.

Re: Regrets ?
O'donnell...
The mid 90's exodus because of lack of revenue from Three Rivers cost Woodson, Lloyd, Greene, Lake, Kirkland, etc..
2 draft picks stick out. Troy Edwards and Jamain Stephens"ARRRGGHHH THERE WILL BE MUTTON TONIGHT!" Said the Troll

I think a reasonable regret is that the horse-faced **** wasn't on the plane home so that Greg Lloyd could have ejected him at 10,000 ft.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Re: Regrets ?
6. The, Neil ( gave away the super bowl ) O'Donnel interceptions ugh ! So Charlie Brown of him. No............ even Charlie Brown comes out a winner at the end and is loved.
7. Allowing Mat Barr to leave the team in favor of some guy name Trout.
8. Allowing Kevin Green to leave the team.
9. Two number one bust draft picks in one season, Tom Rickets and Tim Worley.
10. Not going to the Steelers Super Bowls when played in Florida or Detorit. Not too often they are being played in the neighbors yard.
11. Carnell Lake to the Jaguars.
12. Barry Fosters short career with the Steelers.
13. Eric Greene not living up to what he could have possibly been with the Steelers.
14. Gary Howe nose tackle getting cut. A short time with the Steelers but all he did was get noticed for positive plays.

Regrets ?
1. Cutting Johnny Unitas and not drafting Jim Brown
2. Losing games we should've won. This year we could've gone 15-1 and and 2009 could've gone 16-0!
3. Losing to Dallas and Green Bay in the Super Bowl
4. Losing tons of AFC Championship GamesHidden Content Justin Cummings WILL Walk Again... NEVER GIVE UP HOPE. #PrayersForJC

Regrets ?
Would love if we still had our block numbers. It's sad that Iowa looks more like the Steelers than the Steelers :thumbsdown:This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show QuoteHidden Content Justin Cummings WILL Walk Again... NEVER GIVE UP HOPE. #PrayersForJC

Re: Regrets ?
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way“The key to a winning season is focusing on one opponent at a time. Winning one week at a time. Never look back and never look ahead.” Chuck Noll

Re: Regrets ?
I'm not in their heads, but I suppose as always it had to do with $$.....Just my perspective of what I feel happened. I still think he had enough gas in the tank for 1 more season, but after how the season went, he's probably glad he didn't have to endure it on the field. I just thought he deserved to go out on his own terms instead of being forced out by being released, then announcing retirement.....This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
