Here's a thought, and it may not be popular - hell, it may be downright stupid, considering the source (me), but it's a thought:

Seeing as how there are quite a few people from BD "piggybacking" on the ticket purchasing (and I don't know if this is cool with you or not in the first place, Kip & SteelReign - it's never been an issue before, so I wouldn't think it would be now), and maybe some others as well, why not:

Make it so that anyone who gets their ticket thru PSF is more or less "required" to bring something to contribute to the festivities? Not that we haven't always had an abundance of food & drink, but this would kind of help "cement the commitment," for lack of a better phrase.

Now, "bringing something" can also mean non- food or drink things, like cornhole, or - like I did last year - whiffleball, or some other activity.

I'm bringing a keg or two you know that. I can pitch in whatever else is needed too. I think we have in the past maybe had too much of everything. That's not really a problem but maybe we don't have to stress as much about it and bringing things that are parking lot friendly would be the best. Grill food is always the best.

Yeah, Beez - I know you're good for the homebrew (IAPF is bringing some, too.). And as I noted, we've never really lacked for anything.

Mostly, I was kinda inferring that "bringing something" would firm up ticket commitment.

Prolly a misguided idea, as I pointed out originally.

I'm holding out hope for him but if not, Megan Fox said she'd like to go with me.
