    What??

    Let the good times roll!

I have to say looking back on the recent OC's I don't have too many fond memories of them - Mularkey, Whiz, Arians.

I'd gladly take Whiz over Arians right now if Whiz handed more control over to Ben like Arians has.

When I think of the Steelers offense in recent years - It's a run here for no yards, run there for no yards, maybe a run there for some yards and Ben running around making things happen after a play breaks down. And maybe an occasional timing slant pattern to Holmes. Not too many fond memories of the OC's.

I liked Mike Mularkey. Think about the QB;s he had to work with while he was an OC here - Kordell and Tommy Maddox. He got a good amount out of those guys and those offenses. In the end they just weren't that great but I thought a strength of Mularkeys was that he used everyone's strengths. He play called and designed around strengths.

I also don't doubt that Bill Cowher had a heck of a lot to do with the overall scheme and the amount of running that we were "required" to do. You look at Whiz... Arizona's offense is a testament to my belief about Cowher's mandate on running and the more conservative style. Remember, it was Whiz that persuaded Cowher to take the training wheels off of Ben in the 05 playoffs. That Arizona offense is pass happy but he's utilizing the talent he has. That's Whiz's offense, wasn't Todd Haley's or whoever is the OC there now.

Id take both over Arians in a heart beat.

Wait... why's this thread about Mularkey anyways? He's the OC of Atlanta. Me wonders if Rockcr got mixed up since his post was made during the Cardinals game. Speaking of which.... Is Whiz calling the offensive plays in Arizona? I looked at their coaching staff and they don't have an OC. They have a passing game coordinator, running game coach and offensive quality control coach

    What???

Is that like Russ Grimm's son or some other kind of nepotistic bull****?

I thought Grimm went out there to be the OC.

    WHATever.....

    They suck too.

Willy is going to love being reunited with Kreider this off season and he will probably run all over the NFC next year.

I feel the humor in some of the posts in this thread, but can we REALLY still blame **** on Arians and his offense??? I DONT ****ING THINK SO!!! I JUST brought myself to watch the "highlights" from today's game....and....our secondary looked like the ****ING KEYSTONE COPS!!!! Come the **** on! Ike gives up the middle of the field on a 3rd down for a 80+yd TD....Gradkowski chucks a ****ing duck that looked like a god**** punt up for grabs into triple coverage and a ****ing rookie makes the catch...***GOT **** GAY FALLS ON HIS *** several times leaving guys open...JOE ****ING BURNETT!!!! MAKE A ****ING PLAY FOR **** SAKE!!!! I COULD HAVE CAUGHT THAT ****ING BALL!!!!

****, Im gonna have to take another blood pressure pill and an ambien to get to bed tonight!!!

William Gay has NO business on the football field!!!...then again, Deshea couldnt even get a finger on the "punt" pass (not to mention the rest of the suck asses in our secondary) and Burnett didnt win any fans by dropping a game clinching gimme!!!
