Yeah, life sucks right now for Steeler fans. Seems like the end of the world.

Keep in mind that less than a year ago - 10 month ago actually, we were watching Smokey make that spectacular catch to win an NFL record 6th Lombardi.

I probably speak for most of us, but regardless of what happens this year - I stay proud of this team, the city and it's accomplishments. This ****ty season will be forgotten and other seasons ahead will be remembered - just like 2005.

This isn't a basket case team, it is, has been and will remain a quality team who's currently in a slump. It will pass.

    Keep it in perspective.

Arians is still a ****, btw.

No doubt it's a tough time because we all had such high expectations. But it's great to follow a team that we can have expectations of. The season passes much too quickly,so I'm going to enjoy every moment of Steeler football that's left.

Oh, we are all so freaking spoiled here it is sickening. We have won 2 Superbowls and a Stanley Cup in the past 4 years. Other teams have never won a Superbowl! Hell, other teams can't even sniff the playoffs other than once a decade.

I know we are spoiled, but it doesn't blind me so I don't notice issues that should NOT be issues. I still think we should be undefeated at this point. We haven't lost one game that we couldn't have easily won if it weren't for stupid mistakes and decisions. I still think we could beat any team in this league (if Troy is healthy). You give me a healthy Troy and Aaron Smith and I think we coudl beat the Saints or Colts. You can say injuries are no excuse, but get real. They are.

This whole season has been strange from the get go. From the civil suit filed by that nutjob andrea mcnulty, against Ben, to the disappearance of the defensive ability to protect a 4th quarter lead, this has been a very unSteelerlike season.
I tend to think this season is a fluke, because for me the indicater is, that as bad as things have gone, we are still 6-6.
When things go this bad for most teams, they are 3-9. That speaks to the talent we have and allows belief that it won't be like this for very long.
It has just been a dicked up season. A season that tampa, cleveland, detroit and St. Louis wish they were having.

True.... But more than likely, it'll be done out of spite.

I've had countless conversations with these fanidiots about the season thus far. They all start to rub my nose in it and quote their record... I congratulate them, acknowledge that we cannot win it every year, and then point out that if we sneak into the playoffs we may be playing a 3rd game between the two squads... They immediately say that the Steelers did it against Baltimore, and I then ask when their team has done it?
