Default Early look at NFL Draft for the Steelers

With the bowls coming up, it's a good time to narrow in on some possibilities for the Steelers so it would be more fun to watch some of these guys. For the sake of argument, let's say the Steelers pick 15-20.

We know we won't take a QB, a RB, a TE, and probably a WR. And I think it's a long shot that we take a safety even though I think Clark will probably be gone. The reason being I don't see them putting a lot of money at the safety position, especially since any safety who plays with Polamalu won't be asked to be a big play safety. So that leaves interior OL, DL, ILB, and CB. I specify interior OL because Max Starks is making LT money so it seems unlikely they will draft another LT or even a RT, because he would be expensive this high and they will probably think it would be just better to sign Colon.

Now, who at those positions will definitely be gone by 15-20? Those players would be OLs Russell Okung and Trent Williams, DLs Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy, and CB Joe Haden. A player who could be there for the Steelers but doesn't appear to fit is DE Derrick Morgan.

    So who is left?

DT Arthur Jones (6'3" 302) Syracuse
DT Carlos Dunlap (6'5" 293) Florida
    ILB Rolando McClain (6'3 1/2", 250) Alabama
ILB Brandon Spikes (6'3" 250) Florida
CB Patrick Robinson (5'11" 192) Florida State

May be too good to pass up if they are there:

RB/KR- C.J. Spiller (5'11" 196) Clemson (replacement for Parker, 3rd down back, and return man)
WR- Dez Bryant (6'2" 217) Oklahoma State

Possibilities if the team thinks there could be contract snags with Woodley:

OLB Sergio Kindle (6'4" 250) Texas
    OLB Jason Pierre-Paul (6'5 1/2" 263) South Florida

There is a dedicated room for draft discussions. I'll move this there...
