    Default Coaching Staff Shakeup Coming

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4738788

Source: Steelers staff on shaky ground

After five straight losses that have derailed their season, the Pittsburgh Steelers coaching staff is expected to undergo a considerable makeover this offseason, a source close to the situation told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Changes are expected with Pittsburgh's special teams coach Bob Ligashesky, amongst others.

Other coaches that could be in trouble in Pittsburgh include offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and offensive line coach Larry Zierlein.

Only one other Super Bowl champion lost five in a row the following season, and the 1987 Giants deserve an asterisk because they used replacement players during part of that strike-interrupted season.

    Chop their heads off!!!!
"The brotherhood that the Steelers have, their way of doing business, their way of playing football, spans decades. Their way of building teams that do not blink and players that do not shrink, well, there is nothing come-lately about it."

Kip, I believe you will be surprised by the changes that take place. I think all these clowns should have been fired already, but since the playoffs are a pipe dream now, there is no reason not to do it today.

Well actually there is one reason. The only replacement coaches available are either unemployed or work for a non-bowl college team. Now considering how many GD'ed teams get bowl appearances, that doesn't exactly leave the cream of the crop out there. Other than that, I totally agree with you.

Praying to God that someone in the FO has enough balls to tell Ben to go **** himself and fire Arians.

I would not be surprised if that happens. In all seriousness (Yes I'm serious) as I posted before I heard a rumor that Cowher told ben before Bill left that he'd be his QB when cowher came back into the league. I really had a hard time believing that at the time at end of 2006, but based on what I've seen this year I don't find it that hard to believe. Just wanted to post that. source was from someone who lived very near to Ben in his previous residence.

I don't have to pray to anything. The FO just better do it. What do they want to be... the ****ing Cleveland Clowns?

Arians is an assclown and so is anyone who likes him.

I'll have to see it to actually believe it. Ligashesky I can see getting the axe, but Arians? With Ben's admiration, love and tightness to Arians? I'll have to see the Rooney's and/or Tomlin go against Ben before I believe it
