Default Steelers G Kemoeatu out with multiple injuries

Steelers G Kemoeatu out with multiple injuries

PITTSBURGH (AP)—Pittsburgh Steelers left guard Chris Kemoeatu will sit out Sunday’s game against Green Bay with right wrist and right knee injuries.

Coach Mike Tomlin says Kemoeatu has been “playing one-handed” at times because of the wrist injury and that he needs a week off to heal. Kemoeatu will be replaced by undrafted rookie Ramon Foster.

[HIGH-LIGHT]Steelers safety Troy Polamalu will miss a fifth consecutive game with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, an injury that has been slower to heal than the team expected. Polamalu hopes to play in the Steelers’ regular season finale Jan. 3 in Miami, but he could miss the rest of the season.[/HIGH-LIGHT]

****in stupid, bring him back for the final game? Sure!!!!

Steelers' Kemoeatu out for Sunday's game
    Tuesday, December 15, 2009
    By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin predicted there will be more changes if necessary but stopped short of promising any during his press conference today.

One change in the starting lineup will occur because of an injury. Chris Kemoeatu, who has had injuries to his right wrist and right knee, will be given time to rest and recuperate. Rookie Ramon Foster will start at left guard against Green Bay Sunday.

Also, Tomlin ruled Troy Polamalu out of Sunday's game, his fifth straight with a knee injury.

Well, it's a bit of a trial by fire for Foster, having which said all rookies have to make a step some time. Let's see what the guy can do. We've got precious little choice in the matter.

Its a shame, because at the mid way point, Sports Illustrated had Kemo as one of its two Mid Point All-Pros.
