I don't know probably not. My opinion of him hasn't really changed that much since they hired him. I still feel like I don't really know what he is about. I am not giving up on him totally right now. I have given up on the 2009 Steelers, the whole package. I am not really impressed by any facet of the team right now but at the same time I am not ready to just get rid of everyone and start from scratch, no what I am sayin? So why would I feel any different about the HC. I think you have to give him a chance to work his way out of this. If he doesn't then you don't extend him.

Well put Beezy!!! This is his first experience with utter failure...I'm curious to see how he responds next season. Cower had a few ****ty seasons too (see '98-'00). He, like many of our players, deserves a chance to respond. The "fat lady" has already warmed up this year, but I'll hang on until mathematically eliminated (which could happen this weekend)...imagine if we slip in and make noise in the playoffs (okay Im grabbin for straws, but why not?)...then we may have a different outlook!

Losing to the teams that we've lost to is completely unacceptable! At the same time, the Browns' loss was our biggest loss (in terms of point differential) of the season, at 7 pts....Clearly we are not getting the "love" of the FB gods this year, and sure a lot of that has to do with the "readiness" of our squad....again, Im at a loss

No,after reading some of the comments from the players, and reading between the lines...it appears more and more that the "rift" in the locker room is between the players and the staff. I think the team has given up on Tomlin.

Besides, if we can't beat the raiders, chiefs and browns, we sure as **** aren't going to beat green bay, miami and baltimore.

They could if they wanted to, we beat some good teams this year. Everyone is talking about the little things that adds up to failure but I feel like there is something big going on that no one outside of the locker room or coaching staff is talking about. The failure was too massive to just be bad luck or whatever.

No, mine won't just by winning these three last games that mean nothing.

He would have to do some great things in the off season and then follow it up with a great season even while faced with some adversity such as injuries to key players.

I think expecting the Rooneys to go 3 for 3 in hiring HC's is a little unrealistic.

I don't think that is going to happen to the Steelers but at the same time if Tomlin is not the guy then they are going to have to make a change. I would rather switch coaches then be stuck with a guy for 10 years that is not getting the job done.

That is precisely why I said the team gave up on Tomlin.
