...yeah, I'm one of those that is tired of his act and said we should move on and get someone new...but you know, after thinking about things, he does a great job at making fgs...if he kept his nose clean and didn't ask for the moon salary wise, I would not be opposed to brining him back next year.....but what to do about his poor kickoffs?

    .... Crystal Meth?....

Man, I like the cat, but he's gonna be demanding too much money next season, I think. Other than the money issue, I'd have no problem with him remaining on the squad. He's short on kickoffs, but usually money on FGs... If not, we can most likely do another try-out and have some other young buck that can do the same thing, and maybe reach the end zone on a few of the kickoffs...

I really think he is an idiot but he is a perfect fit at Heinz. They won't pay for a kick off man and Reed. I think he wrote his ticket out of here with a combination of things, his likelihood of demanding too much $$, his penchant for being an idiot....

Yea, you are correct... But his FGs kept us in the game till we ultimately ****ed it up.

****ty kickoffs and maybe better than average on FG's.

    Doesn't command top dollar IMO.

Time to move on, and we better not waste another draft pick on a ****ing kicker again. Sepulveda is NOT worth a 4th.

He needs to go, it seems like every time the Packers started a drive it was at their 30 or 35 yard line. That **** does not cut it in the NFL. Especially when your defense has been struggling.

I agree. He's reliable on FG's for the most part, but his KO performance is completely unacceptable.

Reed will be resigned for less than what he turned down in the past off season after he tests the free agent market for a few weeks.

His 'tude in the locker room is that of the class clown, and TBH that can only help keep levity when the chips are down and is not a detriment in any way.

    Drink up, *****es.

His off field **** don't bother me, as long as he gets points. Unless you have a better kicker in mind you know we can get, I say keep him. There are a lot of teams out there right now looking for kickers, if he isn't with us, we will see him against us somewhere.

You guys are nuts that are saying we should keep Reed. So we get two kickers then? One to kick FG's and another to do kick offs?

There's no way that the Steelers should have a kicker that routinely kicks off to the 10 yard line. Reed has 1 touchback that whole year!! It's a joke and routinely gives the other team great field position.

The kicking game is probably the most underrated part of football.

No one *****ed about his kickoffs last year, no returns for a TD.

Keep Reed and see if Sepulveda can kick off, or find the Pitt kicker from a couple of years ago. I think his name was Connor Lee. He was a good kicker that had good distance on kick-offs.

The TD returns are bad ST's play AND horrible kicking by Reed.

Teams starting the ball at their on 30-35 is pretty much all on Reed. Like I said, it's a joke. Watch any other team and their kicker is routinely kicking the ball either in the endzone or right at the GL. We're lucky if Reed gets ONE kick to go near the GL, I think we've given up on seeing any balls land in the endzone.

That is a big deal. It's called field position and it's one of the most overlooked aspects of football.
