    Default "Ziggy" Hood

Has anyone seen our 2009 #1 pick make a tackle this year or pressure the opposing QB??

Bad first choice or he still is "just learning?"

He has 3 tackle assists and I seem to recall him pressuring a couple of times. Not prolific but better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick.

He has not played enough to properly evaluate one way or another.

Absolutely brother, and I may add, I look forward to seeing him play more.

As am I. He has the potential to be a big part of the future. Wish I would have been paying more attention to what the play results were when he was in so far.

-that's just it, he really hasn't played very much that you would even notice he was in the game.

Yeah, although I seem to remember him tipping 2 passes causing them to be incomplete. And he got some decent pressure a couple of times.
But, like you originally said, haven´t seen enough to evaluate.

He has been playing a lot of the dt on 3rd won when they take Hampton out. He has looked ok I keep telling myself his job to hold on blockers not make big plays. He has tipped a couple of passes so i would say he is doing fine in limmited role, but i do think he is better off at Dt than De once smith is back next year.

He had some nice pressure on the first pick of the Denver game. But, yeah..Haven't really seen enough of him yet to say one way or the other. I'm sure he's still learning a bit too.

He's had some pressures and I've seen him chasing down some guys but not much else. He's pretty much only getting in on 3rd downs (passing downs) so you're not going to see him a lot in those instances, especially since our DB's and Farrior couldn't cover a statue on 3rd downs.

Too early and not enough to evaluate Hood. Guys don't get much of a look in LeBeau's defense as rookies anyways

Troy Polamalu was clueless in this first season. Enough said.

Ya mean nose? I have been wondering if they actually drafted him to replace Snack instead of Smith. It would make sense to me but what the hell do I know. I would think he needs to do some heavy eating though.

Of the possible in house answeres at nose he would be the best. Smith is to valueble at LE to consider moving and Kiesel has been really solid at RE. Hoke is under contract next year but i hardly ever see him play anymore. Harris is an unknown.

Now My personel choice would be to get Vince Wilfork in FA cause we need a stud Nt cause we are staying 3/4. Without a NT we are the Chargers and have to blitz almost every down to avoide being pushed around.
