Bowling Green offense vs. Idaho defense
If given enough time, QB Tyler Sheehan can pick a defense apart and now he'll face an Idaho pass defense that has struggled to get to the quarterback. The front four are taking too long to get off blocks and the coverage hasn't held up long enough for the pressure to get to the quarterback when they've blitzed. In addition, 5-foot-7, 175-pound RB Willie Geter's lack of ideal bulk makes it difficult for him to hold his own in pass protection, but he can provide Sheehan with an effective safety valve when the Vandals blitz. Geter is quick enough to separate from man coverage and Idaho had some problems matching up with Utah State RB Robert Turbin.

Arizona offense vs. Nebraska defense
A shoulder injury forced RB Nic Grigsby to miss three games, including the last two of the season, and hindered him in several others, but he is expected to play. While backup Keola Antolin is a downhill back who has done an admirable job of filling in, Arizona is a better team with Grigsby in the lineup. Of course, the bigger issue is that Arizona is going to have a tough time establishing the run regardless of who's getting the carries. DT Ndamukong Suh is the most disruptive defensive tackle in the country, and DT Jared Crick is an excellent complement. Their ability to control the middle will make it difficult for the Wildcats to run between the tackles. Suh and Clark also keep blockers off the linebacker corps, which frees the linebackers up to make plays when Arizona tries to run outside.
