    Default Positives from this season.

Alot of negatives, but there were some positives as well.

Mendy- Great breakout season for what could be considered his "rookie" campaign. Showed he should be our back of the future as long he keeps his head out of his ***.

Logan- Best return man weŽve had in a long time. IŽd like to see him stick around.

Wallace- What a rookie year. Some really spectacular catches. "Ben to Wallace" should be something weŽll be hearing for awhile.

Ziggy Hood- DidnŽt see a whole hell of alot of him, but enough that I feel pretty good about his role here in the future. Next season will most likely tell the whole tale, but still, what we did see of him pushes you to the positive side of thinking with him.

Positives - are you kidding me?

There's a huge positive here and I've said this before - this is probably the best Steeler offense that we've ever seen in history. Ben is off the charts.

Having said that, don't forget there's still that civil lawsuit looming.

Like i said, there were ALOT of negatives. But you canŽt really argue that the points I lined out about the players are negative. Diamonds in the rough, if you will.
Yeah, the season turned out ****ty. But, thereŽs still a great base here and we picked up some missing elements. Hopefully, weŽll pick up the rest before next season.

    No doubt.

Hood - still a rookie. I'm being educated on DE's, they take a year or two to develop. The talk on that college kid Suh is that he's so dominant in college that he never had a chance to develop his technique so he may struggle early on in the pros. Hood is fine for now.

Wallace - should be the rookie of the year. Stud right out of the gate.

    (**** Sweed)

Logan - I heard the mediot announcers saying the Steelers were looking at trying to get this guy into regular play because he's so good. The guy is a godsend as far as I'm concerned.

Woodley - started off slow, still a stud. I have no doubt this guy will be a great player for a long time.

Simmons - maybe not in on every play, but still progressing. Better than receding, I don't have an issue with him, he's fine.

    Mendy - every down back.

Miller - maybe the best TE in the league.

Hines, Holmes - add Wallace and you have THE BEST WR trio in the league, try to tell me that I'm wrong here.

Steeley McBeam - whatever happened to that guy?

Lot's of positives on O. Wallace is fast as **** and can catch! Mendy I really think he is something special. I agree major weapons, they have done everything they can do to surround Ben with them. Now they just have to work on solidifying the O-line, which isn't thaaaat bad as it is and then we need to put the overtime in with this D.

    I heard that too.

Something to the effect that Tomlin wanted to get him involved in bubble passes and reverses.

Why wouldn't they send him straight down the sidelines for a 40-50yd bomb?

You send both him and Wallace deep, someone is wide open and Ben doesn't have to hold on to it for a qtr because they are both so fast.

    - Wallace and Mendy look like future stars. Mendy could be a huge threat in the passing game if used properly.

    - Hood looks like he could be a really good D-lineman for the Steelers.

    - Logan is a great addition to the ST's.

    - Ben is Ben. Still needs to improve in certain areas, though.

    - Holmes had a great season.

    - Grisham looks like he could be a very good replacement for Ward.

    - Woodley looked great in the 2nd half of the season.

    - Arians will hopefully be gone, along with a lot of other coaches.

    - O-line played surprisingly well for most of the season.

    Grisham?

    Really?

Maybe I haven't been paying close enough attention, but I don't recall more than 2 Grisham plays - one catch, one easy drop.

I like what I see out of this youngster. Tomlin does too apparently from his comments and the fact that they brought him up out of the PS. That was a big 3rd down catch he made and he hadn't played at all before that. He has a reputation for being a hard worker.

Can't say you don't have a point, but I'm not ready to nominate him as the next Hines Ward.

Me either. Grisham looks like a scrub. Nobody of any importance. How you could honestly form an opinion on a guy after 1 game in which he caught 50% of the passes thrown to him is ridiculous IMO. He looked like a practice squad scrub that got a chance to play

I'm not either, but he could be a slot/possession type WR in the mold of Hines Ward. He plays a similar style of ball. Obviously he probably won't be as good as Ward is, but who is?
