    By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Coach Mike Tomlin continues to interview candidates for openings on his staff, which he reduced by one after the Steelers officially announced the hiring of a new special teams coach.

He interviewed former Steelers linebacker Jerry Olsavsky for the job of defensive assistant today, after interviewing former Steelers linebacker Earl Holmes on Wednesday.

Actually, I had also read somewhere else that Horton may be leaving...

Personally, I hope he gets out of town in a hurry...

According to his previous coach he was released for personal matters that needed attending to. Atleast that is what I thought I read somewhere?

Singletary also indicated that a personal matter led to Al Everest's departure as special-teams coach, stressing that the botched reverse at Seattle wasn't the reason for a change. Singletary: "If I was that shallow as a coach, I need to be out of the game. It was just something that Al needs to take care of."

How many coaches in the NFL get fired, hired, fired, re-hired, etc... seems like the all do

If none were recycled - who the hell would be coaching in the NFL now?
