    Default Chris Kunitz

Hes cleared to play Saturday night vs the habs.
ďItís a game of emotion, itís a game of hard work.
Itís a game of passion, Kovalchuk, what he did the other day Ė thereís not one guy who was close to doing something. Maybe Maxime Talbot at the end with one second left. Hes about 5ft8 pfft"

    Good news!

BTW: I think the game is at 2:00 in the afternoon Saturday. Odd start time for a Saturday. Maybe the Habs fans are less arogant in the afternoon!

Sorry. I wont post when a potential top 6 player comes back from injury. My bad.

Do what you want fella but I don't even think he should be a top 6 player. He certainly doesn't produce like one.

I guess you missed the POTENTIAL TOP 6 PLAYER part. Not to mention 2 stanley cups. But lets put a ahl'r in instead of him.

Id rather have Kunitz then anyone we have brought up in there, he doesn't need to score to be effective, and he fits well on the line with Crosby and Guerin... this is great news

We play the Caps at noon Sunday. I'm sure that had something to do with the start time.

I don't get the Kunitz "hate".

My belief as well. Sid needs that grit to create some time and space for him and some decent speed since Guerin is old Kunitz does that job far better than anyone we have in the organization. It was the same "job" expected of Talbot for Geno's line this year but Max looks like he's playing at 60% health and definitely rushed back

He doesn't score enough goals for people. It's valid to a point but the Top line has produced all year so it's doing something right and was when Kunitz was playing. Can't really complain. the overall production sometimes outweighs individual numbers

Sid has produced without Kunitz as well, just saying. All valid points, I think he is a good hockey player, I just expect a bit more production out of him. That is always the argument that comes up when looking at prospective Penguins is that said prospects numbers would increase when playing with Sid or Geno. It definitely has not happened Kunitz.
