Each week, the NHL on TSN panel voices its opinions on the hot topics of the day in the Wednesday Night Hockey Quiz.

As a follow-up, TSN.ca offers you the opportunity to chime in on all the big issues with our insiders. Read up on all the questions and answers from TSN's hockey experts, and put in your own two cents on our popular Your! Call feature.

Question #1: Where is Ilya Kovalchuk going to be traded - Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago?

Pierre McGuire: Los Angeles, California and the Los Angeles Kings. They have a plethora of picks, a lot of young talent and they also have tonnes of cap room. The Kings are a perfect fit for Kovalchuk. They're searching for star-power, they think they can go deep. Ilya Kovalchuk can bring them all the things they need in Los Angeles.

Michael Peca: Philadelphia Flyers. Atlanta would like to get a return of some guys who are proven talent, Philadelphia has a stable full of young talent, guys that are already proven. Philadelphia wants to win the Cup more than anybody.

Bob McKenzie: Since 'I have no clue' is not one of the answers given, I'll take the Boston Bruins for 100 Alex. Dennis Wideman is a possibility to be moved there, I know he's on hard times, but he's a defenceman under contract. They've got their own first round pick which could be attractive and I think they're probably going to get the pot sweetened as Don Waddell tries to leverage up the price.

Question #2: The Penguins have traded for a winger each of the last three Trade Deadline days, so which of the following wingers is most likely to end up going to Pittsburgh in the next month - Colby Armstrong, Alexei Ponikarovsky, Raffi Torres, Ray Whitney?

Peca: I think Ray Whitney. He fits the criteria that I think Pittsburgh is looking for. He's a right shot, he's a top-six forward, tremendous amount of skill, and he has a Stanley Cup ring. He just offers a lot to the Pittsburgh Penguin team.

McGuire: Ray Whitney as long as the demands from the Carolina Hurricanes are sensible. If it's out of control and it's not something Ray Shero can digest, then there will be no Ray Whitney going to Pittsburgh. One little caveat, don't discount Paul Kariya going to Pittsburgh.

McKenzie: Alex Ponikarovsky from the Toronto Maple Leafs because I think the price for Whitney is going to be too high. I think Ponikarovsky can be had for a second round pick and he's a big guy that can score some goals and fit the mold of what they need on the wing in Pittsburgh.

Question #3: Do the circumstances surrounding Sheldon Souray's latest injury speak to the folly of fighting or the honour of the game?

McKenzie: I think it's the honour of the game for Souray because it's a very specific thing that needed to be addressed and it was very personal between him and Jarome Iginla. It's unfortunate but if he didn't break his wrist there, he probably would have broken it fighting someone else.

Peca: It's the honour. Hockey provides athletes with an outlet to settle your score. Hockey players by nature are extremely competitive people, and like I said they have the outlet to do it, and I have no problem with it. I had to deal with four guys beating me up on the top of the head after I hit Teemu Selanne in Winnipeg. When I went back to Winnipeg two months later, I had to face Dave Manson, Tie Domi and Stephane Quintal. It was a scary proposition.

McGuire: I think it's folly. The score was 5-1 at the time. When you're a fighter, you usually want to fight for the team, not yourself, and he really put himself in a bad spot. I respect Sheldon Souray, I respect what he was trying to do, but at the end of the day I think this speaks to the folly of fighting.

Question #4: Which injured player will be missed most by his Olympic team - Johan Franzen (Sweden), Mikhail Grabovski (Belarus), Ales Hemsky (Czech), Paul Martin (U.S.)?

McKenzie: Paul Martin on the American team. He's such a good mobile puck-handler that can rush the puck from end to end. He can be on the power-play. He's just a huge factor and I think they will really miss what he brings to the dance on the blueline.

Peca: Johan Franzen. Sweden's a team that has a legitimate opportunity to win a gold medal, and when you're looking at an NHL-style rink, the clutch scoring that Franzen has provided for the Red Wings over the years, he's definitely a guy who is going to be missed for Team Sweden.

McGuire: Franzen. The big reason why is small-ice tactics and the power-play is going to be important. He can get to the front of the net to take some pressure off Tomas Holmstrom. The biggest thing, if he was playing he could develop a lot of power off the rush, especially if he was playing with the Sedins.

    For all the fighting detractors
The only player in the NHL more overpaid than MAF is Jordan Staal

First thing I thought as well.

Every frickin' year there's both this ridiculous belief that Colby is a legit Top 6 winger, that the Penguins actually want his talent back and that he would actually be considered a "missing piece": that this team would need for the playoffs and to win the Cup

I'd take Ponikarovsky to play with Malkin.

I'd take Poni or Whitney, at the right price.

    Forget Torres or Colby.

Colby is Crosby's buddy. I think that's why it happens. Another one is Kovalev.

I think that was a Mark Madden reference or at least that's where I went with it. Fat *** creates a bogus rumor one year and it comes up every season

x2. He was the glue that kept that team toghter while Spezza and Alphy were hurt.
ďItís a game of emotion, itís a game of hard work.
Itís a game of passion, Kovalchuk, what he did the other day Ė thereís not one guy who was close to doing something. Maybe Maxime Talbot at the end with one second left. Hes about 5ft8 pfft"

IMO, the Pens should be looking to shore up their Defense. ....Especially with all the upcoming free agents on their blueline.
