Default Steelers sign wide receiver and punter

The Steelers added two more players who will try to compete for a spot on their roster next season, including a punter from Pitt.

Adam Graessle, who punted at Pitt and signed with Green Bay as an undrafted rookie last year, will provide a second leg for camp to take some of the work off Daniel Sepulveda. Graesssle punted for California in the United Football League last season.

Graessle was rated the nation's No. 23 placekicker by Rivals.com coming out of high school. He was recruited by the University of Pittsburgh, where he was an All-Big East selection as a sophomore and was a Ray Guy Award candidate.

Wide receiver Brandon London also was an undrafted rookie when he signed with the New York Giants in 2007. He appeared in 14 games with the Miami Dolphins in 2008 but was released before the 2009 season. He played at Massachusetts.

Brandon Jaime London (born October 16, 1984 in Richmond, Virginia) is an American football wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Massachusetts.
London has also played for the Miami Dolphins. He earned a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Giants' practice squad in Super Bowl XLII. He is the son of college football coach Mike London.

There's also the possibility that there's a negotiation in the offing and this is a part of a back-up plan/bargaining tool.

Mind you, it is time to start hiring the human tackle bags.
'I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ***-kickers, ****-kickers and Methodists.'
