    well he dont have a season like last year, he had a slump

    but he is still not to bad ( look at the top 3 ) dont forget , he missed 6 game

    Maybe you could name the centres in the East not named Crosby and Backstrom that might have been rated ahead of him?

    I'm not saying he wouldn't or shouldn't. What's really odd is, they usually vote people in based on the previous season unless they're tearing it up in the current one.

    True... once you are in and have name recognition you have to be out with a major injury to not get in the next season, I mean Gonchar last season was a huge vote getter despite barely playing.

    But... if you look at the points leade4rs that Geno#1 posted, Malkin is 7th in the East in scoring so he'd definitely make the team. Strangely, Tampa Bay has 2 players up there and where the **** did Backstrom come from?
