    Browns downgrade Dawson, Heiden

The Browns announced on Saturday that K Phil Dawson (right calf) and TE Steve Heiden (knee) are officially out for Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh.

Both Dawson and Heiden were originally listed as questionable after being limited participants in practice all week. Dawson will miss his fourth consecutive game, leaving Billy Cundiff to handle Cleveland’s kicking duties. It was Cundiff’s two field goals last week that gave the Browns their first victory, 6-3, over the Bills.

Dawson has been one of the better kickers in the league...hopefully we wont see Cundiff on the field but once...

Dawson out... Well, that raises questions about the possibility of 6 points from field goals....
