Default O-Line unhappy with play calling

Just watching pre-game on E.S.P,N. and they were saying the O-Linemen were unhappy with the fact the Steelers throw 60% of the time. They want to run the ball more and are on the verge of going to the coaching staff with their complaints.

Well, fortunately the inmates don't run the assylum.... They may not like it, but they just gotta do what they are told (and paid to do)... Ben can pull that crap w/Arians, but I doubt the O-line can get away with it.

So why are they going to complain about not running the ball when they aren't that great at run blocking??Makes no sense.

Exactly, they are huge men with slow footwork. Fine for passblocking and not so good for lateral quick trapping/ect needed to run block. Sounds like a made up story. Also these guys have been criticized hard for over a year. They play a couple good games so now they are gonna become *****y?

I don't think it's made up.I think they want to "prove"something. I just hope the staff tells them to S.T.F.U. and excute the gameplan.

Can we get a link? I highly doubt the O-line cares as long as we are winning.

This is a ****ing joke, right? Please tell me it is!

Fatt ****ing Maxx is a The guy can't run the 40 much less turn down field to throw a block that breaks Mendy loose. And Kemo is too goddam fat to pull outta his slot to do the same.

This team is equipped for the pass and that should be used to set up the run. The only saving grace we have to run to the right is if Essex can get out fast enough to cross field and throw a body on the inside pursuit. And that only works when you get competent blocking from the TEs.

What we saw from Benjamin today is the only way we will consistently win. If the guy has to go up 50 or 60 times a game, so be it.

FFM and Kemo better step away from the "training table", quit *****ing and deal with the fact that they either need to toughen up on pass blocking or accept the consequences. Both these ******bags raked in a ****load of $$$ to be the starting left side of the World Champion Steelers OL. It's time they delivered the ****ing goods!

Would have been more believable had you said it was an illegal formation penalty.

I think the Steelers talk a lot of **** to the press on purpose.

They just go off on some tangent making opposition think and expect one thing while they turn around and do another.

Just like James at his superbowl press day interview...

Dissin the game plan, *****ing about having to drop back in coverage too much.

Turns out he pretty much was sent in there to assasinate Warner on most every play and then he did improvise, dropped back in coverage and changed the game.

These guys are trying to be head ****ers...

    And dat it dat.

Considering the source "ESPN". It's probably made up or something was badly taken out of context etc...

It's nice to see that the play calling didn't respond at all to the line. They actually looked pretty decent the last few weeks on the run blocking, but today was another example of why they've gone away from it for the most part. No one on the line could stop Shaun Rogers on any plays, but at least Ben managed to stay away from him. He didn't do much on the stat sheet, but it seemed like that guy was in every running lane, and in the backfield quite a bit.

Considering that Rogers is the NT and that we run most of our plays up the middle (running plays), it was no mystery we weren't gaining many yards. When we ran off tackle and off guard, we were getting 8 yards a pop. Up the middle we had a tough to impossible time opening up holes. /Rogers is a big dude, tough to run against up the gut, it's just like other teams facing Hampton
