    Default Jagr back?

    Jagr back?
    Thursday, February 18, 2010
    By HOCKEY30.com

During the second intermission of the game between Finland to Belarus, network MSNBC analyst and former hockey player Jeremy Roenick said that Jaromir Jagr should be back in the NHL this season.

"There are good chances that it will team up with a hood to the Stanley Cup" said Roenick.

"And know that I have very good sources," concluded the former hockey player known for his arrogance.

well it better as any winger available, and dont need a trade

I doubt it happens and mainly because it';s Jeremy Roenick saying it. That ******* has been worthless this entire olympics. Pierre and Millbury probably have better contacts than Roenick

About two weeks ago it was the annual "Colby Armstong back to the Pens" rumor. I see we've moved on to the semi-annual "Jagr back to the Pens" rumor.

They're not trading Gogo with the way this franchise values puck moving defensemen. Especially with Gonchar likely gone after the season.

BTW, anyone else see the "hockey/celeb" look-a-likes on SI.com? Gonch and David Hyde Pierce.

If you do see if make sure to go to #28 and see Ovy.

For Barret Jackman, Erik Johnson or Eric Brewer plus a rental...Kariya!? I might do that. Colaiacovo has been in trade rumors, but he's a FA after this season. I don't see the Pens trading for C.C unless he's tossed in to seal the deal. Maybe it's Darryl Sudor? My guess would be Erik Johnson.

I certainly could see the Blues wanting Gogo. They have a good young team and a puckhandling d-man would be a nice addition. Also, if the Blues did get Gogo, it wouldn't look (to the fans) like the team was throwing in the towel on this season...

    IMO: That deal might happen!

I really don't want to trade Gogo AT ALL. I'm not a fan of resigning Gonchar. I don't like his age moving forward with his recent injuries and the money it will cost... You have to keep the young guys....

plus I don't see us flipping defensemen although i do like Jackman and Johnson (not a fan of Brewer, dont want him)

No matter what happens, I think it's fair to say that the Pens D will look a lot different next season.

I'd be willing to part with Gogo (or Letang) if it meant the Pens get a D-man (under contract) that will knock some ****ers on their asses in front of MAF! Throw a rental like Kariya in the deal and I'm even more excited.

Letang is a RFA right? That means that the Pens could match an offer by another team or receive a draft pick? I wonder if the Blues would take their chances trying to resign Letang?

I agree that signing Gonchar, long-term, for a lot of money, is a bad idea! I think if Gonch really wanted to return to the Pens, he would have signed a deal already and got it out of the way.

to be honest i could see us losing gonchar and letang after the season. Letang is money hungry and gonch wants too much for his injury prone ***. If this happens i think that seals the deal on seeing Despres next year and maybe Bortuzzo

Mario is talking about lacing them up for another playoff run. Palfy, Jagr and Morozov are coming back. We are trading for Malone and Colby for Dupuis and Skoula. Look the **** out NHL, look the **** out.
