And lets not forget the 7-0 team the week after. Unbeaten teams heading to the Burgh usually don't fair well so this is awesome for us. We should be ready for this game and motivation will not be a factor this week.

Sure hope Bettis has a good game. Think Cowher will turtle at the end of the game? How about Whisenhunt....will he allow Ben to air it out?
"The brotherhood that the Steelers have, their way of doing business, their way of playing football, spans decades. Their way of building teams that do not blink and players that do not shrink, well, there is nothing come-lately about it."

That was 5 years ago. We also used to not choke away 2nd half leads back then too and could hold teams like the Lions' offense under 20 points.

Not that I don't think we'll beat the vikings just don't think the past is meaningful

Was thinking the same thing during this game. Minnesota comes in undefeated, and then we have a shot of going to Denver and shredding them on Monday Night Football. That, would be awesome.

Minnesota can thank the ratbirds kicker for that one. Hopefully the Rat's softened them up for us.

    Pats and Colts.
Clean out your locker and turn in your play book.

It was the Eagles, followed by the Patsies.

Doubt it. Favre and the Vikes running didn't look like they were part of a physical game and the Rats defense is looking like ours... not the same as it once was

    Yes - you're right.

We did knock off a previously undefeated Colts in there somewhere, didn't we? Maybe a couple years later?

I was at both of those beatings of those undefeated teams. Was that Ben's rookie season?

The vikes defense disappeared the last 8 minutes. Looked like they forgot how to tackle.

I'm not that concerned about the Vikes. I think they're a little over-rated.

Who have they beaten? The rats? Baltimore is showing they're beatable.

SF? Yeah, they beat SF. Big ****ing deal. Same for the fudge packers.

Add the stains, lions and someone who I'm forgetting and it's not all that impressive.

We beat the Patriots and gave them their first loss of the year and also ended their 21 game win streak. The next week we beat up on the 7-0 Eagles.

I say bring on the Vi-queens
