Probably the College Club sport that gets little attention is the "Sport of Equestrian and Dressage Riding" unless you own your own horse and have had some training. Many colleges have facilities to house the animals... some are loaned to non owners.... owners can bring their own (most do)...

Now, that's an expensive sport!... However, most novices participate in equestrian training.. low and high hurdles and etc. For the "rich and well heeled"... Dressage training, national and Olympic training takes extroadinary special training... Dressage is the execution of various "gates" my a specialize rider.
Here is a horse and rider in action... It looks a little complicated...but, perhaps this video of students practicing the various gates....by Austrialian riders...check it out please and share.

..... Do we have any riders here.... and at what College or Club have you completed... let us know OK....

Now that we are in that horse mode... here is one that is still active and very expensive to participate in. However, for those of you that are old enough to remember "Will Rogers"...cowboy vaudeville performer and early political speaker... "All I know is what if read in the papers" ....while twirlling a lariet... The Wills Rogers Polo ranch is still active and has fund raisers for many charitable groups... Here is Mr. Rogers in typical Polo regalia.

He was an excellent horseman......and played in matches like this.
There are lots of rules... and knowledge of how the game is played can be found here at this home page LINK: http://www.willrogerspolo.org/polo.html

In the meantime here is a sample video taken at a night chucker... check it out.

Many schools have "How to Stay in Shape" groups...with different side interests.... like this one if you have a musical talent and climb stairs up and down to stay in condition.

This a stairway in Stockholm's subway station.
The staircase has been retrofitted to resemble giant piano keys, which produce real sound. This encourages commuters to climb the stairs rather than ride the escalator.

This Video shows that it's a raging success... check it out start climbing and make some music.... OK? .... But, do it sober please.
