Default Live Game Thread : Pirates vs. Yankees : ST Game 2

Might as well get this bad boy up...

Game is televised on MLB Network.
It is also being aired via Pittsburgh radio channel 104.7
If you wanna listen online - http://wpgb.com/main.html

If you don't have MLB Network... here's how you can stream this one (like I'll be doing)

Basically you have to install some tiny torrent stream program here > http://www.multiupload.com/7YFQ4UAM3R

Install and have it running (takes like 2 minutes) and then go here > http://www.myp2pforum.eu/threads/347...-March-2nd-7th

Click on the Link next to the Pirates/Yankees game and the StreamTorrent screen pops up much like Quick Time.
It's already streaming MLB Network. Nice think about Baseball is that a littkle stream lag isn't annoying with a slower moving sport like Baseball

    From Jen Langosch :

Paul Maholm is scheduled to start for Pittsburgh and will be followed by Ross Ohlendorf, Brian Bass, D.J. Carrasco, Chris Jakubauskas, Steven Jackson, Jack Taschner and Jean Machi. The Yankees are starting Chad Gaudin.

Most of the Pirates' projected starting position players will make the one-hour trip north and Russell said that a number of them will see their first bit of game action. "Get 'em goin'," he said.

I keep forgetting about them snagging him. He got lost in the hoopla but I agree with you...

I'm just trying to figure out his flaw(s) off the top of my head without researching

Control.... Machi I wanna say has **** poor control without the ability to K guys above average to get out of jams that poor control creates...

Wanna say there was something else? Did he not give up a lot of hits or home runs compared to the norm/averages?

The Pirates picked him up last year. He's not a young guy (28). He pitched at AA and AAA and did quite well at both stops.

It's a pretty nice looking field from that picture. Palm trees and green at this point look great in any setting for me, though

His K/BB ratio is not very good at all...but his BAA and ERA are very good.
