Think this benefits both sides, don't see anyone giving anything more than a 6 for him, why trade for someone who will be cut?

Maybe there is a non-starting special teams cover guy out there (in the mold of Clint Kriewald or Keisel, early in his career) that we could deal Sweed for. It's a **** shame if the best we could get is a 6, from a 2.

I still feel that there is some value in Sweed, however not as a Steeler.

It's a shame it didn't work out,it really sets a team back when it misses on a high draft pick like this.

Maybe someone else will ask him to drop by.

Luckily, it looks like Wallace will pick up the slack and it wont set us back too much

I just don't see teams offering anything of substance for Sweed via trade given his lack of production and high likelihood that he's going to be cut.

But watch him go to the Pro Bowl when the Cheatriots pick him up.

    Let him go... Big deal...

I hate to say it, but he is a bust... Yea, maybe AT SOME POINT he'll get his head straight. But for where he was drafted, he is not producing anywhere the way he should, and basically, not at all...

Don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out, Limas.

Yeah that probably is one team that will take him because they love ex-steelers, too bad Whiz never coached Sweed or the Cards would have him visit Pittsburgh West tomorrow! They have Foote and Porter coming in and I believe Eason.

I'd give him one more chance, based on potential, and the fact that we won't get much in return for him.

If he makes progress, think the fans will be fair to him.

Sweed never earned a paycheck here. Sad but the guy is a head case.

As would I but you now have Hines, Homes, Wallace, ARE, Battle... doesn't look good for sweed. Then again who knows maybe it's Battle or ARE that doesn't make it out of camp.
