    Default TV from our youth....

A place to remember all of our favorite sitcoms, cartoons, dramas, etc from our youth.

I'm pretty old, but here are a few cartoons I enjoyed as a youngster. Anyone remember these?...

    "Where's Huddles?"

    "Wacky Races"

I know there are thousands of others. What else can we come up with?

I don't remember Huddles, but I do remember Wacky Racers. Racers was so bad, it was great.

    I digged this **** when I was a kid:

How can anyone forget Popeye. While I am not anywhere close to being as old as this episode, i can remember they still had them on tv when i was a kid.

I loved both of them, never missed an episode. I was also a big fan of Adam 12, Starsky and Hutch, Kojak, The Rockford Files, and while I'm at it, I might as well admit that I watched Little House on the Prairie, hell OK, I still watch it from time to time on the Hallmark channel, lol. It's funny how I used to view Carolyn Ingalls as an old mom but now when I watch the re-runs, I think she looks kind of hot! I'd hit it, lol.

I really enjoyed Starsky & Hutch, and the Rockford Files as well.... Hell, my first car was bright red, so I had the older brother of a friend (who worked in an auto body shop) paint the tapered wrap-over white stripe on it, just like the car in the tv show... Unfortunately, it was just a Chevy Chevette with rusted-out floorboards... ...

"Syfy" has been airing episodes of the original "V." I was a little young when it was on TV (I was born in '79), but I remember watching the series as a child. I havent watched the new version of the series, but I have been watching the old episodes on Syfy. What a fantastic show!!! I might have to check out the remake, but it's the "cornyness" of '80's action shows (especially ones that feature Jester from Top Gun and the Beastmaster...not to mention Freddy Krueger) that make the classic V series a must re-watch!
