    Default Falcons release Tye Hill

I can't say I know too much about him only that he was a 1st round pick. Is he a decent player or a bust?

Surely he'd be better than William Gay. Is there any chance the Steelers could sign him?

Initially, I would say no, but based on the below quote from Colbert, I guess it may be possible... Personally, I doubt they'd go after him.

“At this point, I can say, we’re re-focusing,” said Colbert. “We’re not out of free agency, but we’re really re-focusing on draft preparation. But like I said something could happen where a player becomes available …”

I think he had injury problems.

He was a speed burner at Cemson (5'10", 185 lb)and was drafted in the First Round 2006 by St. Louis. (Heran a 4.3 at the 2006 Combine.)

Suffered a knee injury in 2008 and was traded to Atlanta in 2009, where he returned a "pick" for a 60 yard TD against the Skins,.

If he would come cheap, in an uncapped year I'd bring him in just to provide competition at CB.

I see the Bears released Vasher CB also. Another fast CB that has injury troubles.

Some of these backs are just too light to last more than 5 years.

Maybe its the defensive schemes they play in. CB's being asked to blitz or tackle TE's.

I can't recall the steelers having any major trouble with CB injuries.

I guess we're lucky to have a monster like Polamalu to mop up the middle.
