Default Next two opponents combined 12-0

The next three weeks (Minnesota, Bye, Denver) are going to tell us alot about the type of team we have. I like that we have Minnesota at home and 2 weeks to prepare for the Broncos. Plus the game is on national TV and we all know how we play on national TV.

I'M SO PUMPED FOR US TO PLAY THESE GAMES.

The Minnesota game is on Fox and not CBS right?

Yes. For some reason when there's an interconference game CBS takes NFC home games and FOX takes AFC home games. Seems like it should be the opposite way. I guess it's a chance for the announcers to see a different stadium.

I'm just happy I don't have to be reminded that I live in Cincy and the bungles are playing. Be nice to be able to sit at home and not at the bar to watch the game

Bungles are a 4pm game as well that day, so you can watch them lose after watching us win....

Same with Kansas City. I think Louis Lipps was our star receiver last time the Cheifs came to the 'Burgh.

Denver was in Pittsburgh in 2006... The Steelers got their *** handed to them that game, and it pretty much ended their season as they took a record of 2-6. After that they won every game they played, except for those 2 against the ratty birds. But, yeah, Denver always has Pittsburgh's number. We haven't beat them since the 05 AFC Championship (a game in which I was present with my terrible towel that has a 6-0 record when watching live)

And the Chiefs were also in Pittsburgh that year. I think we all just have collectively forgotten the 2006 Steelers season ever existed....

    That's the plan sir

We were doing our best to forget

It ain't looking good for us the next few weeks. I may have to stay off of this section of the board this week in an effort to stay positive. I look at it this way... can we beat these two teams? **** yeah we are the champions of the world right? And on top of that if we DO beat them, even one of these game, I think we are looking pretty sweet.

We better win both these games for 2 reasons.
    1) I need to be able to torture my fiance on how bad Bret Favre did

    2) I need to be able to rub it in all the bungles fans faces that we beat denver and they couldn't

    Pretty selfish reasons I know

I do remember that now. I believe we really kicked their asses. Somewhere in the range of 45-7. But you're right. I like to forget about 2006.

BTW, I looked it up: It was the Chiefs only visit to Pittsburgh since 1989....and we did have Louis Lipps

Stay positive and always remember, records are made to be broken. That combined 12-0 will be at best 14-2 after next week.

I think you mean 12-2 but we get your point.
