CLEVELAND A rap artist from the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has been arrested during an Ohio concert on 12-year-old charges that he roughed up his mother with a gun.
Thirty-six-year-old Stanley Howse whose stage name is Flesh-N-Bone was in jail Monday, a day after he was taken into custody during a show in the group's hometown of Cleveland.
Sheriff's spokesman John O'Brien says deputies didn't wait until after the show because Howse seemed to notice them, invited audience members to the stage and tried to slip out. He was arrested backstage.
O'Brien says Howse was wanted on domestic violence and felonious assault charges. The rapper is accused of striking his mother with a gun in 1998, leaving a 1-inch (2.5-centimeter) gash on her head.

Do you think the pigtails will be so obvious in jail, his fellow inmates won't even go there?

    Funny "Bone" story:

In the mid-to-late 90's I earned extra cash by delivering food from a delivery service (that was basically a 3rd party delivery company that serviced several local establishments). I picked up an order that was going to a pretty affluent neighborhood in a suburb of Cleveland.

The guy that answered the door was "Crazy Bone" (a member of said rap group). I did recognize him (as he was a local celebrity at the time).

Either way, his order tallied up to about $35. He handed me a wad of cash that turned out to be like $27 bucks. I tried my best to NOT be a "star-****er" and trusted that the wad included my tip...not the case.

Got back to my car, counted the "wad-o-cash" (which I was instructed NOT to do in front of the customer)....and when I realized it was short, I went right back to the door and rang the doorbell again. To tell "Crazy Bone" that his wad was short.

His quote (and I will never forget), was:

    "Oh, dat your tip dog"

He then gave me two more $20 bills to cover the order....I ended up making out on the delivery, but was certain that this ******bag wasnt playing with a "full deck."

I dont doubt any stories I hear about these hoodrats.

Bone Thugs was HUGE in the mid 90's! I still remember when East 1999 Eternal came out, which was the follow-up to their disc that had "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" on it. I won't lie when I say that I still have "1st of tha Month", "Tha Crossroads", "Notorious Thugs", "Thuggish Ruggish Bone", and "Resurrection", among others, on my iPod.

Bone Thugs kind of fell off the map whenever they had a nasty dispute with their record company (IIRC), but their CD that came out a couple years ago was really big too. I think it debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard charts.

Wow, my first post in the music forum, and it's about Bone Thugs? What the hell's wrong with me? Regardless, my musical tastes are VERY eclectic, but I grew up on Punk Rock.

Oh yeah, and they're from Cleveland... Cleveland sucks!!
