    Default The "Foote Stomp"

I got a big kick out of seeing the boys (Harrison 'specially) mocking Foote. Willie Gay did it twice (that I saw), and may need to cool the old jets a bit and spend more time watching film than preparing his "mock celebrations!"

Either way, it was good to see the sacks back! Willie Gay actually had the penetration that led to one of Wood's sacks and tallied one for himself!

I noticed that as well and got a kick out of it.

Im not sure what to think of Willie Gay yet. The guy shows flashes of brilliance at times, but also blows some big time assignments in pass coverage. A work in progress I guess.

I thought it was great! I laughed my *** off when Harrison did it after his first sack, then it seemed like everyone was in on the joke

Nice way to finish off a game with 3 sacks in a row! Even though, they still tried to make it interesting on us in the 2nd half Why can't they get off the field on 3rd down?

I know man. I would like at least a couple of stress free games... Ah, enter the Clowns

I think Derek Anderson completed 2 passes today?

The Lions are actually looking good though.

The stains are ****ing pathetic. Did you see any of that game today? I wouldn't show that to captured terrorists.

I don't remember a time when most of our games weren't nail biters. At least we finally have a winning record again. It would be nice for them to just blow out a team at some point. I am not even talking about the Browns, that shouldn't count even thought DA will probably have the game of his career next week. It is almost guaranteed.

For those of you who've not seen Derek "Noodlenoggin" Anderson's stats for the day:

    2 completions out of 17 attempts for 23 yards. That's a winning QB's numbers...

Does he have anyone to throw to tho? It is one thing when 1 QB plays like that but that looks like Quinns numbers. Are they really that bad or is it the rest of the team? I was pretty impressed with Anderson a couple years ago. I really thought he would turn out to be something.

I guess if you were twisting my arm I'd say watch out for this Massoqui(sp?) dude??? Maybe Mangina knows how to get something out of Stuckey when he gets "on the details?..."

We shall see...I'm hopin we hitt'em (Stains) early and often, put a forearm to their throat and don't let up until 60 minutes expire.

Why did we mock the "Foote Stomp?" Was Larry saying something before the game? Did he say something during the week? I don't get it, Larry was forced out by the Steelers, because we drafted Timmons, so he went to his hometown team.
He was a class act here and I felt it was uncalled for IMHO.

I feel the same way. I don't know if they were joking with him or what, but I always thought Foote was viewed as a good teamate.
