    Default Comcast MLB Extra Innings

Hi Guys. I was wondering if anyone on here subscribed to this? Any feedback, good or bad is appreciated! Curious if it is worth the $179...

The only thing they really do wrong is that sometimes they'll have a game scheduled to be shown on one of the channels and the previous game on that channel will run long, so they just don't show that game until the first one ends. The other day Yankees-Red Sox of course ran about an hour longer than they planned, so they didn't put A's-Mariners on anywhere for about 45 minutes when they finally decided to put it on another channel that wasn't being used. Other than that there isn't really much to complain about, just make sure you know which teams are going to be blacked out in your area before you make your decision. In some areas up to 6 teams are blacked out.

I had it last year in Vegas. The only problem there was that they counted Vegas as being in the Colorado, Arizona, San Diego, Los Angeles and Bay Area markets which means we were blacked out of a lot of games.

This year I got the MLB.tv for 60 dollars less. I live in the Bay Area now and only have those games blacked out.

I would think Key West would only be considered Miami and Tampa market. But I could see them saying you're in Atlanta, maybe Houston just to be pricks.
You should check into it before you buy it.

I wish I had spent the extra money now to get the cable packkage. MLB.tv still has plenty of glitches.

I didn't think to look at his location. Being way down in Key West he shouldn't have to worry too much. There's a chance that's considered only a Marlins territory, but worst case scenario would probably be just Marlins and Rays. Atlanta has a pretty big territory, but I don't think it hits any of Florida, and certainly not that far south.

I love the Direct TV version, like someone said, it's less expensive and you are blocked for only one team (in my case St Louis). I also have NFL Sunday Ticket which I think is only available on Direct TV

I'm going the slingbox route. You'll need to have someone's cable to put it on back in Pittsburgh, so it's not a possibility if you don't have that. They'd need to be ok with you tapping into their cable. I'm paying $10/month for an extra box at my parents' place, and the box was $260 on Amazon. That's more of an investment up front, but I can get all the Steelers/Pens/Pirates games for that price, so it'll be cheaper in the long run. The other bonus is I can watch from my laptop/netbook while I'm on the road.

I wanna say that Skipperron had either 1 or the other down there and had little issues and he lived in Florida. It might have been MLB.tv that he had and ran into little problems with viewing. I'm not sure if he had comcast or not.

Get direct tv and a card from the Pittsburgh area and you can all of the FSN broadcasts That's what my Grandfather does down in Clearwater
